Paul Herrod has successfully handled thousands of domestic, probate, family, criminal and social security disability matters over his career. He began learning at the feet of father how to successfully handle the physical evidence necessary to win. While in college, Paul successfully pursued a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in human anatomy and physiology. On his desk you may see a copy of the Diagnostic Manual of Mental Disorders. To be able to read and understand the clinical notes of your physician has proven to be invaluable. Licensed in 1984, Paul made the highest score on the Arkansas State Bar Examination that year. He was immediately immersed into the world of litigation and trial. Paul tried his first jury trial at the age of 26 and over 100 since then. Over a thirty year span he has been the grateful recipient of the esteem of his colleagues and friends. After this length of time he remains ready, willing and able to put that experience and hard earned knowledge to work for you. By way of example, Paul received the first decision of acquittal on a First Degree Murder by reason of mental disease or defect "statewide" in over a 15 year period in 2005. Steeped in old school tradition, Paul Herrod was trained by his father, E.H. "Buz" Herrod. Licensed in 1949, "Buz" was uncompromising in the things that matter most: Duty, honor and loyalty to his client. Likewise, the younger version of the original has proven this over and over. The guiding principal went something like, "Son, you never know what is going to walk in through that door, and you'd better be able to fix it."
